Veronica and I had a chance to visit the old abandoned Packard plant, in Detroit Mi. We had a full afternoon of exploring. I love this place; I wish I had visited much earlier and much more often. There is just so much to look at. We met a few other folks while we where there: some graffiti artists, scrapers, and people just having a walk. It didn’t feel as creepy as it did in 2009, when I first visited, with so many people about this time.
I used a wide angle lens throughout, and I think I became consumed with columns and windows. Many of these shots are high ISO as it’s rather dark in many areas on the inside, and I didn’t feel like dragging a tripod with me.
